Sporting Lisbon reveal stunning third kit honouring Cristiano Ronaldo

With speculation over the potential future of the former Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus star, Sporting CP has honored Cristiano Ronaldo by revealing a third uniform in his honor. With the Portugal icon aiming for 1000 career goals, Ronaldo's contract at Al-Nassr expires in the summer, and there is currently no indication that he will retire.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner has frequently been linked to a return to Sporting CP, where he initially made his professional football debut before starting his amazing, trophy-filled career, but he may yet decide to stay in the Saudi Pro League, wherein he reportedly feels most at home.

Therefore, Sporting's decision to designate the jersey to Ronaldo is a bold move on their part of the Portuguese team, who may begin official contract negotiations regarding the 39-year-old star in January. Ironically, Sporting was the only team where Ronaldo did not don the No. 7 shirt.
