Topuria and Cristiano's firey words exchange

Topuria has engaged in an unexpected exchange of words with Cristiano Ronaldo, particularly after the five-time Ballon d’Or winner showed support for Max Holloway in their bout at UFC 308.

Ronaldo made it clear on camera stating that Topuria talks too much and believes that when he defeated Volk Volk wasn't adequately prepared following a kick. Ronaldo asserted that the champion didn't face the top contenders.

“[Topuria] speaks too much. I think when he [beat] Volk, Volk wasn’t ready because of that kick. He didn’t fight with the top guys.” Ronaldo said.

Topuria has made it clear in his response to Juanma Castano of El Partidazo Cope regarding the upcoming UFC events in the United States. He stated that he will personally extend an invitation to Messi and expressed his determination to fight the number one contender for his title.

“I saw a clip where he said that I’m all talk. Cristiano, he always got something to say. I’m going to personally invite Messi because he lives there. I would like to fight the number one contender, who is Charles Oliveira. We have Messi, Ronaldo can f*ck himself.”  Topuria said.

There is a chance that Messi may occupy a ringside seat the next time Topuria enters the octagon, following their previous meeting with El Matador. Meanwhile, Ronaldo, the Al-Nassr forward, continues to be a prominent presence at major boxing events in Saudi Arabia.
