Robert Lewandowski said, “For me, it’s very clear, do doubts. I will play for Barca next season, I am staying”. When asked if age could be a factor as he turns 36 in August, the Polish Striker replied “My age? I feel good no different to three or four years ago. I am ready for the big season.”

Robert Lewandowski waiting for Kylian Mbappe's challenge

It is not a secret that Real Madrid and FC Barcelona shared a heated rivalry. Kylian Mbappe the French star is set to join Real Madrid after not renewing his deal with Paris Saint Germain.

This has increased the anticipation of many fans who will eagerly await the El-Clasico next season. Speaking to leading Spanish outlet MARCA, the FC Barcelona star said, “It’s not official yet, but it seems that all roads lead to Real Madrid. Fear? No, of course, he is a big player and if he goes to Real Madrid it will be a strong team. But our mentality has to be no matter how good players you have if we are a team and we work hard we can beat you.”

Meanwhile, the Poland Coach has criticized the way Barcelona has handled the veteran striker. Since leaving Bayern Munich, Lewandowski has played 68 games and scored 41 goals for his side. Many fans questioned why the striker wasn't given many chances when Barcelona were in trouble during the previous season.

Poland coach Michai Probiz said to TVP Sport, “Robert is Barcelona’s top scorer, and it has to be said that the team hasn’t helped him. He is often in a good shooting position, but the ball never reached him, in the last game when he received the ball he scored the goal. They were in disastrous form, Robert was the player who tried to lift the team, but there was a moment when they fell out of the fight for titles and the morale dropped.”
