Real Madrid set to fully sponsor training camps in Kerela

The Argentine Football Association and the La Liga teams of Spain are about to sponsor football training in Kerala. Officials from the Argentine Football Association and Real Madrid are expected to visit Kerala to talk about future collaboration. This event comes after a recent deal brokered through Sports Minister V. Abdurahiman, who gathered in Spain with representatives of Real Madrid and the President of the Argentine Football Association, Claudio Tapia.

Furthermore, the High Council of Sports of Spain has consented to work with Kerala to create the Sports Institute in Thenhipalam, offering support in the areas of technology, player and coach exchange, and training. Mathrubhumi received confirmation of these data from Minister V. Abdurahiman, who also said that the talks discussed the possibility of further funding for Kerala's sports industry.

It was also debated whether more money might be invested in Kerala's sports industry. The state is working to improve the calibre of its training facilities, and one aspect of that work is seeking European collaboration. The minister's entourage for this visit included Director Vishnuraj and Secretary of Sports Pranabjyoti Nath.

Argentina national team set to play a friendly game in Kerela?

Minister Abdurahiman has extended an invitation to the Argentina national football team to play a friendly game in Kerala. During talks with Claudio Tapia, it was discussed whether the Argentine team may travel in 2025, with Kochi or Malappuram being possible locations. If this goes through, it would be a win for the entire sport in the country since some of the top stars of the football world would be at display in that game.

In November, officials from the Argentine Football Association are going to Kerala to examine the stadium and additional amenities. It's also being considered whether to open an academy for football in Kerala. The minister and his entourage were greeted warmly by the leaders of the Argentine Football Association, who expressed their sincere gratitude for the support of the Argentine supporters in Kerala.
