In the match against Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur Liverpool came as winners in 4-2 but striker Darwin Nunez was surrounded with criticism after the end of the game. When Darwin Nunez joined Liverpool from Benfica in 2020. As per reports he signed for Liverpool for 85 million euros including add-ons. Since joining Liverpool, he has made 94 appearances and scored 33 goals for the club.  

Later Darwin Nunez again got into the limelight as he deleted all his photos with Liverpool jersey. In the current season, Darwin Nunez has made 52 appearances and scored 18 goals. He has missed many chances to convert the goal. Meanwhile, Darwin Nunez has four more left in the current contract. He may find a new club in the upcoming transfer window.
