The Spanish midfielder often reminds me of the former legend Andreas Iniesta in the way he carries the ball and makes the attacking moves as well. He was the difference maker in the UCL 1st leg in Paris. He assisted the equaliser which was scored by Raphinha soon coming off the bench.
The 21-year-old footballer has been offered a new deal by the club management and he has dropped his opinion regarding the same. As his current deals end in 2026, ahead of any club offers him, his club has offered him a new deal but the term of the contract has not been mentioned yet by the Spanish Giants. He will be hoping that the negotiations between him and the club goes well and he continues to stay at the club.

He said on asking about the new deal, "I’m very calm, I know Barcelona will respect what they told me about the contract.Barça has always been the club of my dreams." He also gave an insight into the mood of the team ahead of the UCL clash and his personal sayings about the game as well.
Xavi is set to leave the club at the end of the season as things stand till now. The Spanish head coach won the La Liga in the last season and are in the verge of taking his team to the semi-final of the UCL, however, the cub is trying their best to keep the manager for more seasons.
