New Update
Paul Pogba to Fulham

It has been suggested that Paul Pogba joins Fulham as the World Cup champion prepares to play football again. The 31-year-old midfielder's penalty for doping has been lowered, allowing him to start training again in January 2025 and formally compete by March. However, Pogba is searching for a new employment after Juventus terminated his contract, thinking that the prospect of free agency could be an enticing lure.

Babel believes that Pogba may regain his form by joining a mid-table Premier League club like Fulham, free from the tremendous pressure that comes with competing for a top-tier squad. While speaking to Instant Casino during an interview, he said, "Yes, I think Paul Pogba could be a good addition for a Premier League club. The only question is which team. I think he could deliver for teams like Fulham, the teams where the pressure is not as high as Man United.”

The Netherlands playmaker stated that, “Not for the fact that he could not handle that pressure, but simply because I think there will be too much pressure on him. He’d be in the spotlight if he joined one of the top four teams. I think you know with all the trauma and things that he’s experienced.”

“He has the talent to do it” : Babel on Pogba

The former Liverpool midfielder added, “I think for him it would be good to join a team that doesn't necessarily have the pressure to win the title. Then he could very quickly be one of the main stars and establish himself as a top-level player again. He would stand out in a team like that. He hasn’t played football in a long time. It’s not easy to come back in at that level, it won’t be easy for him, but of course, he has the talent to do it."

Other teams are apparently interested in Pogba, even though Babel has backed Fulham. Olympique Marseille, a team in Ligue 1, has been mentioned as a possible destination, providing him with the chance to go back to his own country. The French World Cup champion has also been linked to Arsenal, but a transfer like that may put him under the same rigorous scrutiny he had at Manchester United.
