Florian Wirtz Injury

Florian Wirtz had a capsule injury during Germany's 1-0 victory over the Netherlands, and Bayer Leverkusen has stated that he will be sidelined for the foreseeable future. At halftime during the Munich match, Florian Wirtz was substituted by Robert Andrich, a teammate from Bayer Leverkusen.

Julien Nagelsmann gave some information on the forward at the conclusion of the match, although it was unclear how serious the injury was. It has since been disclosed that Wirtz sustained a capsule damage to his ankle; it is still uncertain how long he will be sidelined for Leverkusen.

During six Bundesliga games this season, the 21-year-old has scored four goals and provided an assist, making him Leverkusen's top player. Die Werkself will suffer greatly from Wirtz's absence as they have found it difficult to replicate their performance from the previous season in the first few games of the current campaign.

The current Bundesliga player of the season can be covered by Jonas Hofmann, Amine Adli, and Martin Terrier. The next significant match for Leverkusen is against Eintracht Frankfurt, an early Bundesliga high flyer who presented Bayern Munich with a formidable opponent shortly prior to the international break.

Real Madrid set to go all-in for Florian Wirtz in 2025

According to a source, Real Madrid plans to bring in Florian Wirtz, a phenomenon from Bayer Leverkusen, to replace experienced midfielder Luka Modric next summer. After 13 trophy-filled years, Luka Modric, who reached 39 in September, is anticipated to leave Madrid next summer. The Spanish team has been getting ready for the future without the Croatian star for some time.

AS claims that club authorities have been keeping an eye on Florian Wirtz of Bayer Leverkusen for a couple of years and are prepared to take action during the summer of 2025. Bayer Leverkusen is anticipated to soften their position on a sale by next summer due to the fact that his contract ends in 2027.
