Following his broken nose in France's opening match, Kylian Mbappe hinted to his possible involvement in the next stages of Euro 2024 in a post on Instagram. The terrible injury was sustained by the French captain during Monday's 1-0 victory over Austria.

He practiced separately from the rest of the team after being photographed on Wednesday at France's training facility in Paderborn, Germany, sporting a protective covering over his nose. He then participated in shooting drills.

Although Mbappe's injury does not require surgery right now, France is keeping an eye on him and is reluctant to give him a timeframe for rehabilitation because of Friday's encounter against the Netherlands. Two of the other players had earlier given quite encouraging diagnoses. Mbappe was feeling a "little better," according to William Saliba, who claimed to have spoken with the attacker.

When Mbappe's face met with Austrian defender Kevin Danso's shoulder, he cracked his nose. Mbappe's severely swollen nose was observed to be leaking blood, which caused some of his white France shirt to become scarlet.

The France manager said that, "I can confirm that Kylian Mbappe is feeling better and all is evolving well to see him tomorrow. It's moving in the right direction." Antoine Griezmann also said that, "Kylian is doing very well. His nose is less swollen. We will see how he is doing until the end. His feeling will be the deciding factor."

In the meantime, the first picture of the facial mask he would don has surfaced online; it has the French flag's red, white, and blue hues. The captain of France, who turns 25 on July 1, will play for Real Madrid. He was a key member of the team that helped France defeat Austria 1-0.

Maximilian Wober, the Austrian and Leeds defender, deflected his cross into the goal, giving France their lone goal of the match in the first half. Though he did unintentionally miss a one-on-one shot from close range, Mbappe will be hoping to play against Netherlands on Friday to begin his tournament record.
