Neymar's story
After enduring an injury-plagued 18 months, much of which was spent during an unfortunate period at Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal, he appeared to have found his form again at Santos. The club is optimistic that the 33-year-old will soon return to peak fitness. To support his recovery and strength building, Santos has implemented a new plan aimed at minimizing his time away from the pitch. However, it's still not clear whether he will take to the pitch when Santos takes on Bahia on April 7th in their next league fixture.
Since his return to Santos, Neymar has netted 3 goals including an Olympic corner and assisted thrice in 7 appearances across club competitions. The highest scorer in the history of Brazillian football was even selected in the 30-man squad for the national side's CONMEBOL World Cup qualifiers in March. However, the niggle halted his return to national colours.
