Mauricio Pochettino's future will be determined at the completion of the season, as the Board of Directors anticipated to analyse the head coach's performance over the previous 10 months and appraise his achievements.

We've heard this story several times in recent months, exacerbated and amplified by each aggravating, annoying, and disheartening setback. While Pochettino's position was not subjected to any more criticism from his superiors, it appeared that we were on the verge of separation nevertheless.

However, as co-owner Todd Boehly previously stated, the narrative appears to have shifted dramatically following our incredible back-to-back victories over Spurs and West Ham. Football is a fast-paced sport.

Mauricio Pochettino said recently in an interview that, “It’s true that in the last few months the question is always coming. You need to kill the rumours if that’s not true. If not, the rumour is there for a different strategy [reason]. If you ask: ‘Is it affecting me?’ It is not affecting me. Is it affecting the people working with us? I think yes. Because in the end you can kill the rumour, sack me and that’s it. That’s not a problem. It happens in a lot of clubs.”

The former Tottenham Hotspur manager added, “[The players] don’t need nothing, they are really focused [...] but the fans and staff, yes. They need to know. [...] Maybe [the owners] are thinking that we have a contract so they do not need to clarify nothing in front of all the rumours. Maybe the situation is that they are not worried about them. But it is true that there are too many rumours in the last few months.”

“We are all under assessment” : Mauricio Pochettino

The Chelsea FC head coach spoke about the club that includes the supporters, staff, players and the owners should be happy with what the team is doing on and off the pitch.

The former Paris Saint-Germain manager stated that, “Look, it’s not important. The most important thing is to keep going, working if we are all happy, not only the owners happy with us, or the sporting directors with us, or us, with all the organisation that the club is building here because of them we are all under assessment.”
