Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, and Manchester United are all strong contenders to sign Atalanta sensation Ademola Lookman. CaughtOffside had learned from sources with direct knowledge of the matter that Manchester United is now keeping a close eye on Lookman while Atalanta attempts to negotiate a new deal with the player.
Depending on how events unfold, the Red Devils may be ready to make a bid for Ademola Lookman; but, according to reports, no formal discussions have yet taken place between the club and the player.
Although the 27-year-old has nevertheless not decided on his future, it is currently thought that a January transfer is doubtful and that a summer transfer is more likely. According to reports, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid may be in the running for his signature once more. Their interest dates back to the summer.
Lookman has already played for English Premier League teams, so following his quick ascent at Atalanta, he may be persuaded to join a team like United and demonstrate his abilities in English football. The Nigerian international has obviously improved his game after his somewhat lackluster stints at Everton, Fulham, and Leicester City.
Where will Ademola Lookman go during the transfer window?
Ademola Lookman may be enticed by Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain as well, but Manchester United could undoubtedly provide him a significant role and an opportunity to disprove some of his skeptics in the English Premier League. Given Marcus Rashford's decline in form and Antony's significant failure at Old Trafford, United will undoubtedly be seeking to make alterations in their attack in the not too distant future.
Ademola Lookman may be a big improvement, but he won't be inexpensive—he would cost between €60 and €70 million. Although additional targets in that part of the field will also be taken into consideration, sources have suggested that Manchester United would consider it to be an acceptable price to shell out for the player.
