Liverpool has once again partnered with German powerhouse Adidas. It will once again be manufacturers of Liverpool from August, as they have signed the five years contract which is valued at more than £300 million. The club describes it as a multi-year deal. In  agreements with Adidas, Nike, and Puma, teams like Manchester City, Chelsea, and Arsenal are reportedly compensated for £60 million annually.

Manchester United's current contract with Adidas, worth £90 million annually, is the Premier League record; however, it is believed that this fee is deducted for the team's inability to qualify for the Champions League and other sporting events. Nike replaced New Balance in 2020, and Liverpool is terminating its five-year agreement with them. The Reds' contract with Nike will expire in the summer, and they will return to Adidas on August 1, 2025, for the first time in 13 years.

The deal was worth at least £30 million, but with royalties, commissions, and promotions from people like Liverpool shareholder LeBron James, is closer to £60 million per season. Adidas had a strong relationship with the club from 1985 to 1996 and had previously manufactured Liverpool's kits from 2006 to 2012, enjoying great success on the field and producing a number of kits that many supporters still consider to be among the best in club history.

Liverpool set to win Premier League trophy

After locking the deal Billy Hogan who is the chief executive officer of Liverpool has expressed his feelings. "Everyone at the club is incredibly excited to welcome Adidas back into the LFC family. Adidas and Liverpool share an ambition of success and we couldn’t be more excited to partner together again as we look forward to creating more incredible kits to help drive on-pitch performance. We'd like to thank Nike for their support over the last five years and wish them well for the future," he said.

This season Liverpool is in great form as they are aiming to win their first Premier League title since Jurgen Klopp left the team. Even though Mohamed Salah’s contract situation is unclear he is helping Arne Slot to achieve his dream. Liverpool’s UEFA Champions League campaign is also good as they are in the Round of 16 and will face PSG in the second leg on March 16.
