Real Madrid lost the fourth consecutive El-Classico fixture of the season despite Kylian Mbappe's valiant efforts to keep his side in the contest. Real Madrid lost 4-3 to their rivals FC Barcelona at Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys on matchday 35 of LaLiga.
Kylian Mbappe tried his best to keep Madrid's hopes alive till the final whistle. However, his efforts didn't yield the desired results as his team failed to compete at the level of FC Barcelona.

Kylian Mbappe motivates fans on Instagram
Kylian Mbappe was the sole shining light in an otherwise dark Los Blancos side that took the pitch against the table toppers Barcelona on Sunday. The French striker had put his team in the driver's seat as he netted two goals in the first 14 minutes of play. His first goal came from the penalty spot, while the other resulted from open play.
In the second half, while his side trailed 4-2, Mbappe again took to him to get one goal back as he struck his hat-trick in the 70th minute. However, his hat-trick wasn't enough to rescue Real Madrid from facing another defeat against FC Barcelona this season. The result of the fixture had put FC Barcelona 7 points adrift from Real Madrid. With only three matches to go, Kylian Mbappe may finish his first season at Real Madrid without any silverware.
Kylian Mbappe became the third player in the 21st century to net a hat-trick in El-Classico. He added his name to the prestigious list of stars that includes Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez. He also became the first Los Blancos star to score a hat-trick in an El-Classico since 1995.
Following the disappointing loss, Mbappe took to his Instagram to make his feelings known to the fans. He asserted that both the club and the fans have endured lots of pain this season, and he vows that they will be back better next time. "Painful but we will come back. ¡HalaMadrid!" Mbappe mentioned in caption.
