Kylian Mbappe has already been announced by Real Madrid officially on Monday. The French superstar whose transfer from Paris Saint-Germain to Madrid was the talk of the footballing town has been completed. Both parties agreed to their terms and the deal was signed a few days back. However the footballer's contract with the French club ends in June 2024, till then he cannot be officially presented by the Spanish Club. After the UEFA Euro 2024, he will finally be traveling to the Capital city of Spain to be officially presented. 

The Los Blancos will not be paying any transfer fee to the winger's former club as he has become a free agent. Finally, after trying twice previously the footballer has joined the current La Liga champions in the third attempt. They tried to sign him in 2017 after he left Monaco for Paris Saint-Germain for a transfer fee of €180 million ($196 million depending on current exchange rates), the second most expensive ever for a football player. Mbappe came close to rejoining Madrid in 2022 before resigning with PSG.

The footballer will turn 30 by the time his contract expires with the reigning UEFA Champions League winners. It will be a childhood dream coming true for the star forward as he was an ardent Madrid fan from a very young age and always wished to play once in his life for the Spanish club. He will be taking up the No.9 jersey in the club, as both 10 and 7 are pre-occupied by the other footballers. The jersey was previously worn by Cristiano Ronaldo in his initial days at the club. 

Mbappe has spent seven seasons at the French capital club and is the club's all-time leading scorer, with 255 goals in 305 games. He won twelve major trophies with PSG, including six Ligue 1 crowns, three French Cups, three French Super Cups, and two French League Cups. He will look to continue winning trophies especially the UCL and score goals next season for the most successful European club.
