There could be trouble in the days to come as Mbappe is set to see his contract end on 30th of June 2024.

Kylian Mbappe misses drawn game against Netherlands

The French superstar is currently with his national team playing in EURO 2024. The youngster missed the huge game against Netherlands after suffering an injury in the last match. Both sides held out for a 0-0 draw after VAR’s decision meant that Xavi Simons goal was disallowed.

At the end of the game Didier Deschamps said to the media, “I wasn’t bluffing at all. He’s getting better and if it had been a decisive game this evening then maybe I’d have thought twice about him playing or not. He took a nasty blow, he’s got a bruise and will have to wear a mask. With every day that passes we’re getting to a point where we want to be. I thought the wiser decision was to keep him on the bench.”

Meanwhile Dutch coach Ronald Koeman wasn’t happy with the game ending in a draw. “I personally think the goal should have stood. I think Dumfries is offside, that’s true. But he isn’t disturbing the goalkeeper, and when that doesn’t happen it’s a legal goal in my opinion. And you need five minutes to check it because it’s so difficult? I don’t understand it”
