A scan will be might be taking place as soon as possible to check out the seriousness of the injury.

Mbappe, who joined Real Madrid, was unable to score his first goal at the European Championships. He was then replaced by Olivier Giroud for the remaining time of the game. This was not the first injury scare for the France team as earlier in the day another footballer also was brutally injured.

Griezmann also suffers an injury

As he went toe-to-toe with Austrian defender Max Wober on the sideline. The Leeds player, who already had a booking for a rough foul in the first half, pushed the Atletico Madrid footballer off the ground and into the advertising hoardings.

The French playmaker landed headfirst into the pitchside advertising. The collision resulted in the striker sustaining a nasty gash to the side of his head. The medical staff treated him on the pitch before he was then taken off for more treatment and due to the injury the head was heavily bandaged, but it did not last very long as it fell off in the next move.
