Julian Nagelsmann has held a strong position as the head coach of the German national team by extending his contract until the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Julian Nagelsmann took over from Hansi Flick in 2023 September however first it was a short-term contract and was getting over after the EURO 2024. The announcement of extending his contract has just before a few weeks since Germany will be the host for EURO 2024 which will start in June and July.
Since taking managerial over of Germany National team Julian Nagelsmann has made an impact on the team as they have won three matches out of six friendly matches. In March International friendlies Germany has won over France and Netherlands. Since taking over he has brought back the success on the field and there is a new level of excitement among fans and players for upcoming tournaments.

A new era got started for Julian Nagelsmann and Germany
According to India Today Julian Nagelsmann stated, "This is a decision of the heart. It is a great honour to be able to train the national team and work with the best players in the country." However, he also expressed joy and success in winning against France and the Netherlands. While is eager to take charge of the win to win the EURO 2024 which is going to be in their home of Germany and is ready to face new challenges of the FIFA World Cup with his coaching staff.
Before taking national duties Julain Nagelsmann came into the limelight with RB Leipzig as he took the club to their first UEFA Champions League semi-final. After that many clubs around Europe got interested in signing him as manager but Bayern Munich got his services. He had a great time as Bayern Munich's coach.
As Germany has started preparing for EURO 2024 and FIFA World Cup 2026 Julain Nagelsmann's leadership skills and vision will play an important role for the German national team. His contract extension promises a new era for the team and brings back glory to the team which was missing for a while.
