AC Milan and Inter Milan to battle for Italian star

Archrivals AC Milan and Inter Milan are supposedly at a major advantage in the potential transfer battle for Monza sensation Daniel Maldini. As reports revealed, La Repubblica claims that the Rossoneri have added two crucial stipulations to Maldini's summer move to the U-Power Stadium.

AC Milan is entitled to 50% of any future sales proceeds. More significantly, they claim to have the ability to match any bid for Maldini and return him to San Siro. The 22-year-old left Milan to join Monza in August after being unable to get regular first-team football there.
