Indian Men’s football team head coach Khalid Jamil has named a 23-member squad for their upcoming match against Bangladesh. The Blue Tigers will play at the National Stadium in Dhaka on November 18, 2025, in what will be their fifth match in Group C of the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 Qualifiers. India’s hopes ended after their 1-2 defeat against Singapore at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa on October 14. However, there is still some excitement around the team as Ryan Williams has been included in the squad. Williams, who recently received his Indian passport, could be a major addition. But his availability for the match is still not confirmed. He can only play once the team receives a No Objection Certificate from Football Australia, followed by final approvals from both FIFA and the AFC.

The team has been preparing in Bengaluru since November 6. As part of their training, India played a closed-door friendly against Bhutan and secured a dominant 6-1 win.

The last fixture between India and Bangladesh ended in a goalless draw

Bangladesh, on the other hand, are also out of the Asian Cup qualification race. They sit third in Group C with two points from four matches. Ahead of this upcoming clash against India, they played a friendly against Nepal, which ended in a 2-2 draw.

When these two teams faced each other earlier in the qualifiers, the match ended in a goalless draw.
