Lionel Messi is unlikely to enter the boxing ring shortly, as Logan Paul recently clarified that his challenge to the Inter Miami star was made in jest. Paul, who is also a WWE superstar, is currently involved in a legal dispute concerning his energy drink brand, Prime Hydration, which is facing off against Messi's Mas+. The case includes allegations of trademark infringement and harassment.
As the case risks becoming protracted in the courts, Paul, who partners with social media sensation KSI as the head of the Prime brand, proposed that the issues could be resolved through direct confrontation by putting on a pair of gloves and fighting it out in the ring.
Logan Paul called out Messi in the ring
In a message directed at FIFA World Cup winner Messi, Paul asserted that Messi had copied their work. He claimed that everyone witnessed what Messi did; it was clear to all, and then they found themselves facing a lawsuit from Messi's company.
The WWE superstar, Logan Paul, accepted during a discussion with his brother Jake Paul on his YouTube channel that he was not going to fight Messi, and he ranted all such things as he wanted to get attention from Messi fans.
"Bro, people think I really wanna fight Messi because I made that video. Everyone’s like, ‘Of course you want to fight someone retired and smaller than you.’ It was a f***ing joke. I’m not fighting Messi, guys, it was a joke for attention. For f*cking attention, bro." Logan Paul accepted the YouTube stream.
Messi is fully focused on his commitments at Inter Miami and has no time to entertain distractions. His attention is firmly set on the team's pursuit of MLS Cup glory in 2025, as well as their strong early performance in the CONCACAF Champions Cup competition.
