'I did not say I am leaving Man City..'- Pep Guardiola opines on his will to extend tenure

The one football manager who is considered the greatest of all time is none other than Pep Guardiola, who is among the most decorated managers in the beautiful game right now.

He has also consistently won trophies with Manchester City and has managed the team in what is probably their most dominant phase in football so far. Pep speaks on his future at Man City

There are a lot of speculations that this might be Pep Guardiola's last season at Manchester City. He managed the side well since 2016 and has been with the English club for 8 years. We still do not know much about the future of the legendary coach, but there are rumours that this might be his last season at the Club where he has already won numerous titles. However, Pep has stated through his Instagram handle, saying, "I had said I am closer to leaving Man City… but I did 𝐍𝐎𝐓 say I’m leaving Man City!, I’m 𝐍𝐎𝐓 ruling out absolutely that I sign new deal."

This statement proves that we still might see Pep for another year at the Etihad where he will be managing this champion team. He further added, "I want to be sure it’s the right decision not just for me but for the players if they run no matter competition that is what I have to see. But yes, I love being here." This means there is a chance we might get to see another season of Pep taking the reigns in the upcoming season.
