Robert Lewandowski fraud

During Robert Lewandowski's transfer, a scammer posing as football agent Pini Zahavi tried to defraud Barcelona out of €1 million. The club found out about the scam in time to retrieve the money, even though it had already been sent.

According to Cadena SER, someone impersonated Zahavi and persuaded Barcelona to send €1 million to a Cyprus bank account. When the bank rejected the transaction since the account was inactive, the scam was discovered. Zahavi acknowledged that he had not discussed the payment with the club. Before any losses happened, the money was successfully recovered after being blocked.

After undergoing scans upon his return from international service, FC Barcelona has received some positive news regarding Robert Lewandowski's fitness. Following Poland's tie with Croatia, Lewandowski was observed limping, and head coach Michal Probierz stated he suffered a "slight injury."

However, AS reports that Lewandowski is expected to be fit for Sunday's match against Sevilla after FC Barcelona tests revealed that he only had a "severe bruise around his right tibia."

Hansi Flick, who is already anticipated to miss the game due to Lamine Yamal's injury and Ferran Torres's absence, was relieved to hear the news. Lewandowski could start versus Sevilla, although Flick would need no reminders that FC Barcelona will play Bayern Munich as well as Real Madrid next week.

Coldplay set to feature in FC Barcelona kit for El Clasico

The most recent artists to receive the Barcelona Clasico kit treatment are Coldplay, who have previously worked with Drake and The Rolling Stones. When the record-breaking Brit Award-winning band plays their bitter rivals Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu on October 26, the iconic Blaugrana jersey will be emblazoned with the insignia from their "Moon Music" album. On November 2, Barcelona Femeni will wear the shirt as they take on Eibar in Liga F.

Coldplay said, “We’re honoured that Spotify has chosen to feature our Moon Music design on the shirt of FC Barcelona. We’ve had a special relationship with the city and the club for many years. We’re also proud to support the UNHCR in their life-saving work to protect refugees and displaced people around the world. Heartfelt thanks to Spotify and FC Barcelona for making this happen.”
