The emblem for the inaugural 32-team FIFA Club World Cup™ has been revealed by FIFA. This event marks the most inclusive competition in the history of club football, with the first edition scheduled to take place in the United States next year.
In addition, Gala's "Freed from Desire," a popular football anthem for fans of clubs and national teams, has been chosen as the audio signature for the event. FIFA has also introduced "Take it to the World," an initiative calling on fans to highlight what makes their club unique.
New Look Of Club World Cup's Format and Emblem
The FIFA Club World Cup 2025™, scheduled to take place from 15 June to 13 July 2025, will feature teams from each of the six continental confederations – AFC (Asia), CAF (Africa), Concacaf (North, Central America and the Caribbean), CONMEBOL (South America), OFC (Oceania), and UEFA (Europe). This tournament aims to redefine the process of crowning true club world champions in terms of their manner, timing, and location.
This new competition aligns with FIFA's commitment to providing increased playing opportunities at both national team and club levels for all FIFA Member Associations within the strategic objectives for the 2023-2027 cycle. It also seeks to raise the global standards of football.

As of now, 30 out of the 32 teams have already qualified. The remaining two spots will be filled by a club from CONMEBOL (South America) and the host country representative. Qualification is determined through continental club competitions, based on sporting merit over a four-year cycle. This system ensures that continental champions and consistently performing clubs are duly rewarded.
The emblem for the upcoming tournament is inspired by the history and culture of football, with the tournament's initials "C-W-C" abstracted into a cool circular icon. The emblem will be used for all future editions of the tournament and includes space in the centre for FIFA to highlight the successful clubs from all six confederations that will be competing in the United States.
