FC Barcelona have struggled in the 2023/24 season failing to win any major silverware. The Blaugranes has already announced their new coach Hansi Flick, with the German manager will be succeding Xavi who was sacked in a turmoil. The management needs to gear up quickly as they will be in desperate need to sign the footballer needed by the former Bayern Munich coach. The club will need to first sell some of the players to make the signings.

Ahead of the season, the Catalonian club have once again tied up with their older jersey makers, Nike. As it was previously reported that they will be breaking the tie with American athletic footwear and apparel corporation. As Joan Laporta the club president sent a warning to Nike amid the ongoing kit dispute with the sportswear giant and potentially switching to Puma or even making their shirts with the help of Hummel.

However, amidst all the speculations, the company and the club have signed a deal that will be made official in a few days. The club will then receive a €100M signing bonus and receive €105M-€120M/year over a 10-year contract and it will be the highest kit deal in football for the Spanish club.

Will sales of Jersey help Barca sign any players?

The club has been linked with the American giant for 27 years and has a contract with Nike that runs until 2028. The design of the next season will be interesting to watch for the fans and the shirt sales money will also be important for the club as well. The signing of the footballers will be somewhat dependent on the sales as well.

Joshua Kimmich is one of the targets for the club, however as things stand recently, the footballer turned down an offer from Barcelona since it was not to his expectations. According to sources, he reportedly makes over €19.5 million before taxes, a wage that Barcelona finds difficult to match as per the club's financial crisis.
