Disappointed and angry fans let out their frustration by damaging seats, hoardings, and other infrastructure in the stadium.

The excitement was in the air when it was announced that Messi would tour to India in December 2025. In what was described as 'The GOAT Tour', fans hoped to get a glimpse of arguably the greatest Footballer of all time. To do that, the fans were ready to pay hefty ticket prices.

The organizers promised the fans of providing a good glimpse of Messi. The Salt Lake Stadium was set to welcome Football's legend with unmatched craze. A statue was also built to honor the Argentine Football star. What turned out was nothing short of a disaster.

Fans felt betrayed by the organizers

Messi showed up in the stadium and was crowded by numerous people maintaning his security. Fans expected him to have a full round of the stadium, but instead got not even a proper glimpse of their favorite hero. The organizers did not let Messi honor the fans, as politicians and celebrities flooded around the star player.

In no time, Messi was taken out of the stadium, leading to a huge outrage from the fans. Fans booed the act and vandalized the stadium after feeling getting betrayed. Out of frustration, fans damaged seats, hoardings, and other infrastructure in the Salt Lake stadium in the city of joy.
