Dubai Soccer Awards announce nominations for best men's, women's and football clubs

Dubai Globe Soccer Awards announced the nominees for men's, women's and team categories. The prestigious awards are to be given on December 27th.

The 19th Dubai International Sports Conference, along with the Dubai Globe Soccer Awards, is scheduled for December 27. Among the nominees for the prestigious individual awards are seven exceptional footballers from La Liga, including Real Madrid's Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior, and Jude Bellingham, along with Manchester City's Erling Haaland and Rodri. Additionally, football legends Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi will also be recognized in this distinguished lineup.

Voting for the highly anticipated 15th edition of the star-studded awards is now officially open across all 12 main categories, starting Thursday.

Halland, Mbappe and Kane to contest in several categories 

Haaland, the current Best Men’s Player, is set to face off against Mbappe, Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez, and Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane for this prestigious title this year.

Additionally, the Norwegian is a strong contender in the Best Forward category, where Chelsea standout Cole Palmer, who has already netted seven goals in just 11 Premier League appearances this season, is also nominated.

Real Madrid and Bayern Leverkusen are the biggest contendors for Men's best club 

In the race for the prestigious title of Best Men's Club, Spanish giants Real Madrid and reigning Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen are front-runners, alongside ten continental or domestic champions from three continents. The teams include :-

Xabi Alonso to lead the list of Contendors for best coach 

Xabi Alonso, the mastermind behind Leverkusen's success, confidently secures a spot on the nine-man shortlist for Best Coach, which also features Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta and Real Madrid’s Carlo Ancelotti. Additionally, FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich are fierce contenders in the five-team shortlist for Best Women’s Club.

Last year, the Dubai Globe Soccer Awards made headlines by drawing a staggering 70 million votes from over 225 countries and territories, showcasing its immense global influence.

Fans have a deadline of December 10 to cast their votes online at vote.globesoccer.com. The ultimate winners will be decided through a powerful blend of fan votes and the distinguished Globe Soccer Jury, featuring legendary figures like Marcello Lippi, Francesco Totti, Iker Casillas, and Luis Figo.
