Alejandro Garnacho was seen donning the Al-Ittihad jersey while on vacation. This comes as a huge surprise as the Manchester United star is a huge fanboy of Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese superstar plays for Al-Nassr, which is a huge rival to Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League.

The Argentina youngster shared the stage with Cristiano Ronaldo during his break-out year at the club in 2022. In turn, it turned out to be the last proper year for the Manchester United legend with the club. Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract was terminated mutually after an unprecedented interview alongside Piers Morgan.

Since then, Garnacho has shown signs of continuing his legacy in Europe and is known to celebrate his goals just like his idol. The left-winger has been a revelation for Manchester United and if he continues on this path, he can have a similar career trajectory like his mentor and idol, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Alejandro Garnacho roasted by Kobbie Mainoo in new interview

When talking about Alejandro Garnacho's fondness for goal celebrations, Kobbie Mainoo showed his true colors. Mainoo has gained notoriety following an outstanding campaign in which he scored in Manchester United's FA Cup final victory over Manchester City, 2-1, and played a crucial part in England's run towards the UEFA Euro 2024 finals, during which they were defeated 2-1 by Spain.

Following the lively game at the Venice beach, Mainoo took a seat and answered questions from the young people in the area honestly. The young player kindly sidestepped the question when one of them suggested thinking of fresh goal celebrations for the upcoming campaign, saying that his teammate Garnacho was better suited for such high-profile situations.

He said, "I'll leave the celebrations to Garnacho, he likes a little celebration.” He added, “If you're not winning, you're learning. I just came off a big loss in the Euros final but you have to work hard to make sure these opportunities come again and try and take them the next time".
