'We took advantage of the talented players we have' - Nuno Espirito Santo
Nuno Espirito Santo was happy with his team's performance against Ipswich Town. Nottingham's manager claimed that his team performed well and felt they played an organized game and were in control throughout. He understood the challenge of playing away from home against a team like Ipswich.
"It was a very good performance overall, we were organized and in control of the game. It’s difficult being away from home at a team like Ipswich being so intense and aggressive," Santo felt. He further claimed that Forest was able to control the game well in the first half, which was key for their win.
Nuno praised the younger players who ensured they took advantage of Ipswich's imbalance. "We were able to control the game and we had a good spell in the first half. We took advantage of the talented players we have as well as Ipswich being unbalanced in some moments," Nuno added.
