Bayern Munich has struggled in the season as they failed to win the Bundesliga for the first time in 11 years. The Bavarians have been looking for a head coach ahead of the next season, as their current manager Thomas Tuchel, has no intention of staying with the club in the 2024/25 season. Tuchel has faced a lot of criticism in the season for the side's poor display in the domestic league and failing to qualify for the UEFA Champions League final.

As things stand close to agreeing on a deal for a manager. He has the experience of playing for Hamburg for two seasons. He knows the intensity of the league, he has led Burnley since the beginning of 2022. Burnley won the Championship under his managerial term.

Kompany to sign three-year contract

But this time he is set to leave the club and join one of the finest teams in Europe and he will hope to bring back the momentum for the side that went missing in the last season.
