In the second half, goals from Kingsley Coman, Lennart Karl, and Jonah Kusi Asare sealed a dominating 4-0 win for Bayern.
After the match, Kane looked pleased with the team’s performance.
"The performance today was pretty dominant from start to finish. It shows that the base we built last year with the coach is in full flow and I feel like we're taking steps forward now and today was a good step in the right direction," he said.
"Team is getting better" - Kompany
Bayern’s head coach, Vincent Kompany, also praised the team, but admitted he was a little surprised by how well they played.
"We've got to stay calm, there's still a lot of work to do. The fact is the team is getting better and they are improving. I'm a bit surprised that the lads are at this level of performance this early. I didn't expect that," he said.
Bayern Munich will begin their Bundesliga season against RB Leipzig on 22 August.
For Tottenham, the current UEFA Europa League winners, this was their last warm-up game before the UEFA Super Cup clash against the current UEFA Champions League winners, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), on 14 August.

Despite the heavy loss, Tottenham’s new head coach Thomas Frank remained confident.
"We will 100 percent be ready for that game, I'm not in doubt about that. There are six days ahead, we have a normal week for the first time in the last two weeks so with everything -- just getting down, less travel, energise [the players], three or four good sessions -- then we will be ready against PSG."
