Arsenal are currently fighting for the English Premier League title race. The Gunners will be facing Manchester United in their upcoming match in the weekend at the Emirates stadium. They have dropped down from the top spot after Manchester City defeated Fulham 4-0 away from home on Saturday, as the Sky Blues are two points ahead with equal game played. However a must win fixture for Mikel Arteta's side as they will not want to let go the chance of winning the trophy after 20 years.

The North London side have a balanced side with good squad depth in each position of the squad, they have been brilliant in the attack as they have scored 88 goals and conceded the least goals with 28 in the current season. The midfield position of the club has been stocked with players and they have lot of options for rotation as well.

Ahead of the 2024/25 season the Gunners have targeted some players to join the club, and have been looking into recruiting a highly rated proper successor for midfielder Thomas Partey, who costed them only £34 million. The London club is also ready to sell the Ghanian midfielder has only made 33 Premier League appearances and has not been given much game time.

Arsenal have big names in list for 2024/25 summer window

As per the latest rumours, the management are in talks with Spanish club Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi. According to recent reports from Spain, Edu is willing to spend £52 million to sign Zubimendi, which would be plenty considering the sum is equal to the full value of his release clause.  Arsenal, on the other hand, wants to reinforce other positions, including in-between the sticks, defence, and further forward, Simon Collings. Borussia Monchengladbach star Kouadio "Manu" Kone might be a cheaper alternative to Zubimendi who is also in their radar.

Previously, there has been three names that are been circulated in the market, Bruno Guimaraes, Youssouf Fofana and Joshua Zirkzee who have been linked with the club. Regardless of the other listed players, if the London side can add these three players to their team, they will appear stronger and better for the 2024/25 season.
