Popular content creator and social media influencer Maxtern recently raised a big topic on X (Twitter). In his post, Maxtern claimed that many BGMI streamers are using bots to bloat their viewership count, implying that these streamers fooling people into thinking that they constantly pull thousands of live viewers every time they stream.

This has created a new controversy with various forms of responses from BGMI fans. Some believe this to be true, while others are calling out Maxtern as asking for names and proofs. Few have decided to defend their favourite streams, but overall, the situation has turned into a mess. “Most of the BGMI Streamers using bots to increase their live watching,” he wrote.

While Maxtern does not stream himself, he does upload gameplay-related videos and vlogs, however, his content has shifted to opinions and others for which he was mocked aptly by the people in the comments section. However, the reason for his actions isn’t clear, be it a general PSA or some issues with BGMI streamers. Regardless, the situation quickly escalated.

However, using bots to artificially increase live viewer count is one of the frowned upon activities in streaming space that robs other entertaining people from climbing up the ladder, as many people usually go with the one they think is more popular.
