In a recent and surprising turn of events, Tanmay Singh, popularly known as Scout, revealed that Vexe has joined Team Z as they gear up for the upcoming Battlegrounds Mobile Pro Series (BMPS) 2024. This announcement came during one of Scout's streams, where he also shared that the decision to disband Team Z had been reversed due to the team’s early registration for BMPS.

Previously, Scout had declared that the BGMI Masters Series Season 3 would be Team Z's final tournament before the team would officially shut down. This decision followed a string of disappointing performances in recent tournaments, including the BGIS 2024 and BGMS Season 3.

Scout, who has been the face and leader of Team Z, has been vocal about his dissatisfaction with the team's recent form. Despite still being in the race for the BGMS Season 3 finals, their overall performance has been lacklustre.

The team, consisting of players like SyedOP, Addy, KYLLO, and Daksh, struggled to find their rhythm, finishing 22nd in the BGMS Season 3 Group Stage and only advancing to the next stage through audience voting. This particular situation left Scout feeling disheartened, as he had hoped to qualify through performance rather than relying on fan votes.

What had Scout Said?

In his stream, Scout made it clear that the journey with Team Z was coming to an end after the Masters Series LAN event. He expressed that the team would give its best effort in this final outing, but the decision to disband was firm.

However, he also mentioned that anyone interested in continuing under the Team Z banner would be welcome to do so. Scout's statement highlighted the bittersweet nature of this decision: “This will be the last tournament of tz. Tz will shut down after this LAN event. Anyone who wants to continue playing under the name of tz can. We will give our best as a team for this event; it was a sweet journey. I will be open for opportunities after this LAN event.”
