When is Haven returning to Valorant map rotation? Find out below

Haven has been one of the most popular maps in Valorant since the beta. It was the first map to feature three plant sites and for some reason, fans seem to have a craving for it once again, prompting them to urge the developers to bring it back.

Watching the frustrations of fans after complaining about map rotations for quite some time, it seems like the devs have listened and have responded. As a result, they will be bringing back the much-awaited map into rotation once again in an upcoming patch.

The multiple plant site offers a different dynamic than your regular sites, and the devs also revealed some balance changes to both maps and a few agents. It will be interesting to see if there are changes to Haven and if yes, how will it affect the player's preference and gameplay. Is it even possible to make a perfect map even more perfect?

When is Haven returning?

As per the latest developer video, the map will return with Patch 8.11 which is set to release after the conclusion of VCT Masters Shanghai. Although, there is currently no fixed date. VCT Masters Shanghai is set to commence on May 23 and will end on June 9. Players predict the patch to come within a week.

With the introduction of Haven, players will need to give something in return, which comes with the removal of Breeze and Split. While Spilt has its share of haters, Breeze was quite liked despite the recent changes and seems like a fair trade for possibly the best map in Valorant.

Alongside Haven, the new map can also make an entry into the map rotation. It is yet to be decided as to which one is more preferred by players, the OG map or the new kid on the block. Even if the new map fails to satisfy the players, they will at least have one of the classics to enjoy.
