The BGIS 2024 has been a poor show for Team Godlike as they failed to reach the Grand Finale of the event. They were among the top contenders to win the tournament but some poor individual and team performances eliminated them from the semifinals week 2.

They finished 15th in the second semifinal week of BGIS 2024. It’s worth noting that they failed on two occasions and faltered their qualifying chances as they had lost the Semifinals in week 1 too. Now, the team’s co-owner Amar Chandgude reacts to their performance and apologises to fans.

In an Instagram post, he said, “Dear Fans, Thank you for your unwavering support. We apologize for not meeting expectations recently and share your disappointment. We're heading back to the drawing board to address our shortcomings. In the coming days, we will provide the answers you deserve. Your patience and belief mean everything to us. Together, we'll come back stronger”.

Admin and Simp recruitment couldn’t help Team Godlike!

Notably, before the tournament Team Godlike recruited Admin and Simp to their squad. However, it failed to produce any great match-winning performances as the team didn’t make it to the finals. The jelly-led team started their BGIS 2024 series in Round 4 after finishing in the Top 16 in the Grind event.

The team failed to give a quality performance and moved to the Wildcard stage. A classy performance in Wildcard stage helped them to make it to Semifinals Week 1 but consistent poor performances led them out of the league.

This exit marks their fourth consecutive poor performance in official BGMI tournaments. After finishing fourth in BGIS season they have failed to qualify for finals in BMPS 2022, BMPS 2023 and BGIS 2023. The team will now need to revamp their strategies and make some tactical changes to get some favourable results.
