WSB Gaming secure Match 1 of BGMS S3 Playoffs (Image - YouTube)
After ending the BGMI Masters Series (BGMS) League Week second to last among 20 competitors, WSB Gaming has managed to bring the heat by securing the opening match of the Playoffs after an intense 4v4 battle against Orangutan and taking home the first chicken dinner.
Following one game with 16 finishers in League Week, WSB Gaming was yet to put in a notable performance, and this game was it. The team did not have the most finishers but managed to make up the first place and have now landed on the top spot.
With the teams left in a 4v4 situation, the fight was as fair as it could be. Both teams exchanged a few blows before WSB took the man advantage and grouped on the last standing player from Orangutan. As expected, it was an easy finisher for the team, which secured them the chicken dinner.
Orangutan also played the survival game and managed to finish in the top 2, however, the team was overshadowed due to the steep drop in position points and Raven Esports, who also secured a decent amount of finishers before losing the fight against Orangutan.

Maximum effort from Team XSpark
Team XSpark was also among those that did not manage to live up to their reputation, however, this wasn’t the case in the opening game of the Playoffs. Securing six finishers during Powerplay, the team quickly grabbed 12 points and were dominating the charts. While they did end up being eliminated shortly after in the seventh spot, their bombastic entry secured them the third spot on the leaderboard.
While other teams are also just a few points shy from Team XSpark, fans will likely be happy to see the team put effort into their game to qualify for the Finals. It remains to be seen if they manage to keep this performance up.
