Team Tamilas have finally got redemption after remaining the only team with zero points after two matches at the BGIS 2024 Grand Finals. The team went in a pacifist way in the third map to put themselves on the board, and the trick worked out pretty well for them.

Many fans might be upset with the team for playing passively, but it was necessary in Sanhok. The map is quite small and with 16 teams dropping in, the possibility of being eliminated by a third party is much higher, which was a risk they could not afford to take after two back-to-back upsets.

With their strategy, Team Tamilas reached the final two against FS Esports with only a single finish. With the final circle forming in an open field, both teams were forced into a gun fight. The gunfight soon turned into a 1v1, with FoxOP from TT and HITMAN from FS remaining.

The conclusion was also quite dramatic, with the smokes fading and both players engaging in open-field combat, with FoxOP coming out on top and finally putting his team on the leaderboard.

Mogo Esports came alive in third match at BGIS 2024

Another team that redeemed themselves in the third match was Mogo Esports. The team has a similar condition as Team Tamilas facing early elimination. However, Sanhok saw the team secure 13 points despite getting eliminated in sixth place. Mogo Esports were only a single point behind FS in the second spot and two points behind TT in the first spot.

While both teams have a long way to go before breaking into the top eight, the teams are finally getting a grip on the event and will have plenty of chance to move forward in the coming matches. On the Flipside, 8Bit remains the only team still left struggling on the battlefield.
