As the survival week comes to an end, Reckoning Esports have switched gears to dominate the battlefield at the BGMI Masters Series (BGMS) 2024. Day 5 saw the team securing their first chicken dinner in the closing match, while Day 6 saw them open up with an even bigger win in the bag.

This was thanks to another modifier called Impact player. With the onset of weekend on Day 6, the teams were made to play with the new modifier, which requires each team to choose an Impact player who can score double points with their finishes.

As for Reckoning Esports, HunterZ turned out to be their saving grace. With nine finishes, Hunterz secured 18 points alone for their team, while also taking the match MVP. Sadly, only one of the finishes came during power play or the team could have scored some extra points. Regardless, the team has now once again taken down Vasista Esports from the top.

Since the beginning of the game, the team was covering their impact player, which allowed HunterZ to wreak havoc. The final circle saw the team flank Gods Reign and Team Tamilas, two teams who were also among the best in the opening game.

However, Reckoning Esports was on an entirely different level as the team secured a total of 30 points throughout the match. Other teams like Team Tamilas and Gods reign have also made a good recovery while 8Bit and Team OneBlade, who dominated the opening week, haven’t been able to adapt to the new format at all and are still struggling.

The Survival Week is almost over and while it is possible for a huge comeback, it seems unlikely as teams are now trying to play it safe. Those who have adapted to the new format are taking advantage and climbing to the top.
