WATCH: Gods Reign take first chicken dinner of BMPS 2024

Showing their true colours in the opening match of Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS), Gods Reign have now secured a big chicken dinner to announce their presence. In an intense 2v3 situation, the team took down Inertia with an impressive flank to secure the first game of Round 1 Week 1.

The final few moments of the game were quite memorable, with one player from Gods Reign being the bait to reveal their opponent’s position. Despite getting the man, down, the remaining two made a big flank from both sides while their opponents were focused on different direction.

In a surprise takedown, Inertia was hit from both sides that resulted in an easy victory for Gods Reign and showcased us why they are among the best. Finishing the game with 10 kills and top spot, Gods Reign managed to secured 20 points from the opening match.

Underdogs challenging veterans

Inertia landed on the second spot, however, they also gave fans one of the best performances of Match 1 taking an impressive 7 finishes. The team managed to match or even surpass some of the top dogs and will hopefully keep the event competitive moving forward.
