Global Esports, who were among the first teams to enter the Grand Finals at BGIS 2024 have now closed the Day 1 of the event with a chicken dinner rivalling one of the top teams, Soul Esports. The team managed a massive 25-point chicken dinner in a stand-off against others in Mylta on Erangle.

As the final circle restricted the map slowly, only three teams remained. Global Esports saw an intense gunfight against Team Aaru where they came close to elimination but managed to best their opponents. Team Aaru who have been one of the first to get eliminated also secured a third spot in position and second spot on the match 6 leaderboards.

At the same time, Reckoning Esports were trying to third-party their opponents to gain an upper hand but did not find any success. The fight concluded with the final circle in Global Esports’ favour, forcing Reckoning Esports to come out and meet their fate. As expected, NinjaBoi came in the clutch for the team across multiple situations and secured the match MVP with seven finishes.

FS Esports is still in the game after early elimination

One of the most consistent teams in terms of performance across Day 1 has been FS Esports. The team has managed to secure the top four spot despite being the first one to get eliminated in Match 6. Their consistent performance gave them breathing room and kept them among one of the top teams at BGIS 2024, even without a single chicken dinner.
