WATCH: GlitchxReborn steal chicken dinner from Norules Xtreme at BMPS 2024

GlitchxReborn secure their first chicken dinner at BMPS 2024 League Week, while also handing Norules Xtreme a big upset after their incredible run with 11 finishes after the team got unlucky with the zone. Both teams ended the match with a similar score.

Despite having a great cover, Norules Xtreme faced a zone disadvantage and GlitchxReborn received a golden opportunity as their opponents were boxed in. After a short firefight, Glitchx managed to overwhelm their opponents to take home their first chicken dinner of Week 1.

While a majority of the finishers for Glitchx came during the endgame, Norules Xtreme has been grinding for quite a while, with War securing seven finishers alone. 

Rivals Apex take home the following match

Leaving the previous winners in the dust, the second game for the day was secured by Rivals Apex, who secured the final showdown against Hyper Rush Esports. The final circle saw a reasonable attempt from Hyper Rush in a 2v3 situation.

However, the did make a crucial mistake, spreading out too much without cover. While this may work in a 2v2 or 2v1 situation, taking separate fights with opponents with a man advantage is very risky in most situation, especially in an open map like Miramar. As expected, both players went down one by one, giving Rivals Apex their first victory.

A slow day for Team Captain

After two back to back chicken dinners on Day 3, Team Captain were among the ones leaving the match early with barely any impact. Their previous performance had people convinced that the team might reach new heights, but since it’s BGMI, anything can happen.

Captain were among the first to get knocked out of the game across both matches, but still retains thier spot in the top five overall leaderboard. One more match remains before Group 4 concludes their Day 4.
