Warzone Mobile Golden Week event and Mid-seasonal update

Season 3 Reloaded for Call of Duty is set to release on May 1 and will be bringing multiple new things for players including new 6V6 maps, weapons, and game modes alongside in-game events. The Warzone Mobile side of the update is also set to get the Golden Week event, as well as a Mid-Season Update after Golden Week concludes.

Alongside these events and game updates, there will also be stability and performance improvement for Warzone Mobile, as it has been the number one complaint since the release of the game. Let’s have a look at what’s to come in season 3 -

Golden Week

The Golden Week is an event inspired by Japanese folklore. Players will need to earn event points by matches as regular. There will also be a Golden Plunder Playlist, which will speed up the event points accumulation. Players will need to collect gold by eliminating others, opening crates and doing contracts.

Using those points, players will be able to unlock multiple in-game items, including Weapon Blueprint for Lockwood 300 – Shogun's Harmony and Combat Knife – Stealth Blossom. Players can also get an animated calling card, Golden Week.

There will also be a random draw in the Golden Week-themed Yokai’s Elegance Keep where players can acquire other rewards related to the event, including Oni – Daimyo operator and Vaznev-9K – Yokai’s Elegance weapon blueprint.

Mid-seasonal update

Following the Golden Week, Activision will roll out the mid-seasonal update that will feature a new limited-time high-voltage game mode in Rebirth Island. The whole gimmick is that players will get empowered by lightning in this mode.

Another change will feature new Viking Runes across the Verdansk map. Players will be able to destroy these runes for rewards, but there is a certain risk involved. More details on the event and new game mode are expected soon.
