While giving justification to the recently medic aid cuts, US Congressman Mike Johnson slammed young men for playing video games instead of working. Medicaid is a free policy and a US health insurance program is given to people with low-income. The Trump administration has now cut the Medicaid insurance program, which is funded by the state and the Federal governments. House Speaker Mike Johnson justified the administration's move by attacking video gamers.

The republicans are accusing that the taxpayers' money is being wasted on a public-funded healthcare policy for video gamers who are playing games instead of working for the country. MIke Johnson said, “No one has talked about cutting one benefit in Medicaid to anyone who's duly owed—what we've talked about is returning work requirements, so, for example, you don't have able-bodied young men on a program that's designed for single mothers and the elderly and disabled. They're draining resources from people.”
He added, “So if you clean that up and shore it up, you save a lot of money, and you return the dignity of work to young men who need to be out working instead of playing video games all day.” But report says that more than 64% of medical recipients who get benefits from the US Health insurance program are working. And the people who are not working are suffering either illness, disability or in school.
The United States of America is a huge gaming nation as they are the people who buy the highest number of gaming consoles. Many parents in the US complain that their child is spending more time on video games rather than studying and outdoor activities like playing. After Donald Trump's administration’s arrival, they are doing many cost-cutting measures to stop unwanted expenditure. They also raised the taxes to every country, and it is now set at a minimum level of 10%. China and the US are now engaged in a trade war that has caused the prices of gaming consoles and other devices to rise.
