Alpha is the codename for a new game that Ubisoft is developing. According to reports, it will be a social simulation that heavily draws inspiration from Minecraft and Animal Crossing and employs voxel generation. The game is thought to be Minecraft's biggest rival as it may be able to provide far more than it does. With a more sophisticated approach, this social sim follows the same general framework as Minecraft for world-building.

Minecraft had a monopoly on the market for a very long time and is one of the few games that is similar to it.The game captivates players with it's vast environment by combining creative and survival features in a new way. In Minecraft, you may build and create a wide variety of things, including intricate structures. The majority of players find that this game stimulates their creative faculties. But no sandbox game that posed a genuine threat to Minecraft has ever been released.

That is, up until now. It's thought that Ubisoft's upcoming next-generation game could alter your perspective on Minecraft. Players will be able to live on an island with interactive NPCs known as Matterlings in the next game. Additionally, you might be able to go to far-off places on the map in order to obtain intriguing items.

Minecraft will not be disappearing anytime

There will be distinct species of matterlings unique to each place. You will also need to acquire materials to build things in the game, much like in Minecraft, but the process will be very different. To yet, not much has been disclosed about the game. There's a good risk that the release of this game will cause people's perceptions of games like Minecraft to change. That being said, it is also true that Minecraft will not be disappearing anytime soon. It boasts a sizable user community made up of devoted enthusiasts who enjoy spending time creating things in its virtual world.

It is quite difficult to classify this forthcoming game as one that could directly threaten Minecraft unless more information about it is made public. Although there is a possibility that it may follow in its footsteps, it is uncertain if it will directly compete with the game.
