5. Frostpunk 2

City builders and colony simulation games are some of the most popular casual gaming experiences players can have, and while Sid Meier's Civilization VII is due in 2025, Frostpunk 2 by 11-bit Studios is all set to release on September 20 bringing back the grim post-apocalyptic atmosphere that will leave player to sustain the last city on the planet.

From the creators of Dead By Daylight and Supermassive Games, The Casting of Frank Stone is a standalone horror video game featuring the main villain from DBD, Frank Stone. 3. FINAL FANTASY XVI

One of the biggest releases of 2024 for PS5, Final Fantasy has been one of the longest-running and beloved franchises. The latest entry in the franchise, FINAL FANTASY XVI, is now set for a PC release on September 17 and will be released with an expansion pass featuring Echoes of the Fallen and The Rising Tide DLC.

Reviving a decade-old game, Saber Interactive is all set to release Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 on September 9 continuing the story of Demetrian Titus, an Ultramarine who is back as part of the Deathwatch and this time will be facing the Tyranid invasion.

Space Marine 2 is the biggest release of September 2024 with the initial reviews being quite impressive with the game featuring heavy focus on customizations for Space Marines including factions and armour painting which is a dream come true for Warhammer 40k fans.
