The Survival Week for BGMI Masters Series (BGMS) Season 3 is here, and 20 teams are now fighting for a direct spot in the Grand Finals. Team Z and GodLike Esports who did not manage to qualify directly were graced with Audience Choice and will continue their journey.

With the arrival of Survival Week, teams have been introduced to another modifier ‘Bounty’ where four teams will have a bounty on their head. Eliminating the said team will net others 10 points in the bank. This modifier will be active alongside Powerplay, so teams will have even more chances to reach the top.

For the time being, it seems that Vasista Esports and Team SouL have been taking advantage of these extra points to pave their way directly into the grand finals. After quietly qualifying for the Survival Week with the 13th spot in the Opening Week, Vasista stunned everyone by taking out two teams with Bounty and securing chicken dinner.

Top three after Day 1 for Team SouL

Team SouL, who was also being hunted down by others, refused to go down quietly as the team went on to take down Orangutan in the first circle to secure some extra points. They did become a little cautious in the late game as they had a bounty on them, but managed to swipe a few more finishes.

Compared to Team SouL, other teams with bounties, 8Bit and Team XSpark, went down early on and Team Oneblade, who secured a spot in the top five, but did not manage to get even a single finisher point. The second match saw Team SouL free from the Bounty, and it was their time to hunt.

While the team was eliminated rather early, it was a risk that came with the possibility of securing double points. The team took down Carpe Diem who had bounty and managed the second spot on the leaderboard. Vasista Esports, however, still holds the top spot with a huge margin after defeating two teams with bounties.
