Wildcard Entry for Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 concluded with Day and the top 16 teams have got another chase to once again get back in the race. Qualifying teams include multiple new names along with veterans that previously failed to qualify through Round 3 and 4.
Overview
Team Soul, who were having a hard time, managed to grab the first spot with three chicken dinners with no competition in sight. The rest of the qualifying teams saw some close calls, but ultimately made it to the semifinals. Carnival Gaming secured the second spot with two wins securing 67 points, Team Aaru and Rivalry Esports however, saw commendable scores with 66 and 65 points even with just one chicken dinner.
Among the GodLike Esports also held on to the 10th spot. The team did not find a win but were resilient enough to secure finishers and made it to the semis with 49 points. MOGO Esports, featuring the old roster of Gods Reign, were right behind GodLike with 48 points.

Imprint Esports on the 17th spot also had the same points as Livecraft Esports but did not manage to secure a chicken dinner across all six matches, on the other hand, Big Brother Esports secured one chicken dinner but remained one point behind both of them.
The semifinals 1 will see a total of 32 teams, 16 through league rounds and 16 through wildcard entry. Out of them, only eight will move to the grand finals, while the remaining 24 will fight for the remaining eight spots at semifinals 2.
