GTA 6 release for Fall 2025 is still on track with no reported delay as per Take-Tow Interactive’s Q2 2025 earnings call. Fans were waiting on the reports for quite some time as more and more people were getting worried about the release. The company previously made the same statement and is looking pretty confident about the release window.
Previously, when asked about an estimate for release date, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said, “In the case of an extraordinary title, for which there are extraordinary expectations, it’s not really about bugs, it’s about creating an experience that no one’s seen before, and Rockstar Games seeks perfection in what they do. And perfection is indeed hard to measure, it really is more subjective than objective.”

As for the second trailer, there is no news about it. Many fans believe that the upcoming Game Awards 2024 will bring the second GTA 6 trailer. Few others believe the rumour going around that the trailer will be coming in November now that the PS5 Pro is released, and Rockstar allegedly teased the date for new trailer.
The first trailer for the game was released back in December 2023, and we are almost a whole year in without any news regarding the game apart from no delay. Obviously, this led to various speculations and rumours that kept the community entertained.

GTA 5 cross 205 million sales
Speaking of GTA games, the GTA 5 has also reportedly crossed 205 million sales globally. It is the most successful game for Rockstar, however, it is also the second most successful game globally. The crown is still held by Minecraft, with over 300 million in global sales.
As per the previous earnings call, the game was sitting over 200 million and within three months, it added 5 million more which is impressive considering it is a decade-old game. What’s more impressive is that it accounts for almost half of all GTA title sales, currently standing at 435 million.
