Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl is set to launch in a few days and is one of the most awaited release of 2024. The game is also releasing on Xbox Game Pass and since it is launching right after Black Ops 6, a large audience is ready to jump into the game. The preload is already available across all platforms.

The developers recently revealed the system requirements for the game, and it is important to check them out before, as they are quite hefty. Players who plan on playing the game above 1080p might have to make some graphical sacrifice if they do not have the hardware powerful enough.

Here are the system requirements for Stalker 2

A couple of things remain the same, these include minimum of 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 and 150 GB of free SSD storage available.

Low (1080p, 30 fps)

Memory (RAM) - 16 GB
Graphics (GPU) - GTX 1060 6 GB / RX 580 8 GB / Arc 750

Medium (1080p, 60 fps)

Processor (CPU) - Core i7-9700K or Ryzen 5 3700X
Memory (RAM) - 16 GB
Graphics (GPU) - RTX 2070 Super or RTX 4060 / Radeon RX 5700 XT

High (1440p, 60 fps)

Processor (CPU) - Core i7-11700K or Ryzen 7 5800X
Memory (RAM) - 32 GB
Graphics (GPU) - GeForce RTX 3070 Ti or RTX 4070 / Radeon RX 6800 XT

Epic (2160p, 60+ fps)

While the requirement are quite hefty with the developers recommending players have a setup resembling high requirements, Stalker 2 will be releasing with upscaling tech like Nvidia DLSS, so there can be a little room for adjustment so don’t let your hardware stop you from at least trying the game.
